Instead of going out of town, we decided to plan a summer time with the kids in the City, just 20 minutes away from our home. When my hubby suggested this place and after I did a little background checking, I said “why not, I think the kids would love it” and the location is perfect too. We always put the kids preference on top every time we choose a place to relax. I think most parents do the same.
We were the first people who walked in as we came early in the morning. It’s like we reserved the entire place, heheh! It was a beautiful family day for us. So, here’s a snippet of the place called “Cebu Westown Lagoon“.
I am giving the management of this lagoon an applause (clap! clap! clap!) for a very well maintained cleanliness and for providing a common picnic area for free, yes it’s free! Aside from that, no corkage for outside food and drinks, except for alcoholic drinks and lechon (pork) more than 2 kilos. The waterpark entrance fee ranges from 300 – 400 php. They have cottages from 600 – 2,400 php. Room rates from 4,800 – 8,000 php.
- Fully furnished A/C rooms
- Function Hall (for big group gathering)
- Kiddie Playland
- Adult & kiddie pools Free Wifi (lobby)
- Restaurant
- Heated Jacuzzi (2nd photo from the bottom) — I love this area!
- Giant Slides

What a beautiful resort this is. It doesn’t matter that it is so near to your home. In fact, I see it as an advantage.

That’s really awesome that they have a picnic area for free. It makes a day out much cheaper if you can use it!

Whoa! That water slide looks awesome for kids of all ages. My teens thought it looked great. Me? I could lay in one of those lounge chairs for about a month at the moment. Sigh… that looks lovely.
