Oldest Ya Kun Kaya Toast Branch

Kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs and kopi set is the traditional Singapore breakfast that you should try when you visit Singapore. It’s cheap and it’s a good food!

This humble brand started in 1944, before Singapore’s independence. The first stall was located in Lau Pa Sat, where it was simply known as Ya Kun Coffeestall. Then 15 years later it was relocated at Telok Ayer Transit Food Market in 1984, and finally settled at Far East Square along China Street in 1988.
