I can’t think of any other mommy who perfectly deserved a Mother’s Day out but my favorite Mare. She’s always around through ups and downs, since the year I’ve started my OFW life in Singapore. Sometimes, we even think that we could be a perfect match for husband & wife — hahaha!

I’m so happy that she agreed to spend a day with me (like it was a YES answer after a wedding proposal — LOL! ). We woke up early on a Saturday to meet and excitedly headed to Northpoint City. It’s the largest shopping mall in Yishun (Northern part of Singapore) that opened their South wing a few months ago. I think one day isn’t really enough to enjoy yourself. The mall has so much to offer. There’s more than 400 retail and dining outlets and that’s over 50% increased. Yishun residents must be very happy about the improvement.

The location of the mall is just opposite of Yishun MRT with underground linkway that connects the MRT station directly to Northpoint City plus a bus terminal. It’s also convenient even if you’re from the east side (like me), thanks to Circle line!

We started our morning right with an exercise at Anytime Fitness. We both really wish that we can do this often. We need to stay active and healthy for our loved ones back home.

It’s so nice to exercise with some other women who believe that exercise matters. And I admire older women who exercise too, although it gives me pressure to complete the rounds. I made it, without complaining! — hahah!

Anytime Fitness has this RBT (Results Based Training) program for the members. The trainings are tracked every step of the way, by using a physical activity belt, Myzone. Myzone is a leading heart rate based system that uses wireless and cloud-based technology. It is able to accurately and conveniently monitor one’s physical activity and with the data captured, helps one to reach his goals with minimal efforts.

With Myzone integrated into the club’s system, and the TV screen showing each member’s real-time heart rates, Coaches are better-equipped to monitor and track the progress of each member and ensure they are efficiently and effectively maximizing their workout efforts.

After our speed class and yoga, we had a good shower then headed to Kimage for a scalp treatment.

(Swipe it to see) Aren’t we blooming after our hair treatment? The treatment is so relaxing with the scalp massage that I almost fell asleep. Plus my stylist is very accommodating to attend my needs and style my hair according to what I requested. Kimage Salon is really an affordable place for the mommies to have a pamper day.

Grace and I agreed that we will be back for another mommies day. Now time for lunch!

I had “Truffle Broth Ramen” for lunch at Kanshoku Ramen Bar. It’s their best seller so I’ve decided to give it a try. The smell is so good that I know I made the right choice. I like truffle but I don’t like when it’s too strong. Good thing it isn’t, even if it’s so evident with the smell and taste. I LOVEeeee it!

Kanshoku Ramen Bar is popular for being one of the first ramen shops in Singapore to introduce Truffle Ramen (dry & broth available).

Northpoint City has over 100 dining outlets from international cuisine to the local favorites, where Oriental Eastern meets Western cuisines. You can simply food trip under one giant roof.

We are feeling young with our nails that we personally chose. I’m happy with the result of my spring-summer nail. It’zzzzz ACHIEVEeeeD! I can tell that the nail artist is expert on the way she strokes, it’s so precise.

After two weeks (today) my nail art is still intact after swimming at the lap pool two times per week, plus I did the laundry of my white clothes which I soaked in soap and chlorine. I also cooked, washed the dishes, and countless times of washing my hands in a day. Not bad right? (after two weeks photo, I’ve shared on my Instagram story).
