While on holiday in Cebu early this year, I did a cafe hopping with my favorite human beings. These cafes are picturesque and uniquely different from each other. Although there are more cafes to catch in Cebu. I will save the rest for my coming holidays to come.

 1. Haven Cafe Restaurant at West 35 Eco Mountain Resort

Haven Cafe is my top favorite. They have a variety of food to offer for breakfast, lunch to Dinner. They served alcoholic drinks too. You’ll surely enjoy the 360-degree view of Balamban Mountains and the seaside of Tsuneishi from their view deck. It’s windy and a bit cold so makes sure you’ll bring something to comfort you.

We visited this cafe during the daytime so I’m not sure how it looks like at night. It’s about 2-hour drive from Cebu City but it’s worth it. It felt like dining above the clouds and very relaxing to be away from the city for a while with mountains around and fresh air.

If your only purpose is to eat at the cafe you’ll still need to pay the entrance of PHP 100 and it’s consumable.

2. Crate Cafe

If you constantly read my post, you’ll remember that I featured this hipster cafe few months back.

It’s a quaint little coffee shop nestled in the mountainside and just along the main road. The location for me is good, it’s not far from the City proper if you just want to escape from the hustle and bustle. And just right to drop by after your laag-laag (visit) to few nearby tourist spots like Sirao Garden Little Amsterdam, Temple of Leah, Mountainview, Tops, and more.

The cafe served both cold and hot coffees, blended coffees, and Italian Sodas.They have a variety of pastries too as well as vegan donuts for our veganista friends but for non-vegan too. My favorite is vegan donut with almond and I like the Macapuno Carrot Bar too.

3. Adventure Cafe

They probably named it “Adventure Cafe” because you can do some activities like zipline and more. We had our lunch there but nothing really special about the food they served except for the Puto & Sikwate. The rest of the food you can find it anywhere else but minus the view of the mountains.

4. Terrazas de Flores

It was just a quick coffee break, we haven’t tried the food. You have to pay an entrance of PHP 100 and it’s consumable. I like that they have cabanas to just chill and feel the beauty of nature. Although the flowers are seasonal, you’ll still enjoy the quietness of the place and nature.

If you want to hide from noise, this cafe is perfect for you to have your own time and space to think while having your coffee or probably read your favorite book. Simply a place to be on your own or with a companion.
