I was privileged to be invited to the exclusive debut performance of The Nutcracker last 25 August 2017 at Gateway Theatre. The Nutcracker will bring you to a magical world of enchantment and glee through the performance of local artists, incorporating captivating music, dance, special effects and magic. Such an amazing show, a treat for the entire family.
The show captivated my heart from the exceptional performances of all artists, spectacular set, breath-taking costumes, special effects, video animation, to the world-class illusions performed by award-winning illusionists and the father daughter duo Lawrence and Priscilla Khong. It was so amazing to watch them telling the story without any dialogue. The story of Clara was narrated through the art of magic, dance and state-of-the-art technology. It also combines classical music arranged in a modern style by renowned music Director Kenn C and the theatrical production directed by Fan Dong Kai. Together with an international dance troupe of 14 dancers and over 50 backstage production crew.
The Nutcracker will surely brings you to a magical adventure that will dazzle your senses and touch your heart. It is set to be one of the world’s most vibrant show that will fill your heart with joy. I went home with a happy heart and relieved from all the stress of the day.
THE GODFATHER
CLARA & THE PRINCE
Her beautifully crafted Nutcracker doll comes alive and transforms into a handsome prince.
The Nutcracker will run from 25 August to 10 September at Gateway Theatre. Bring your family for an early Christmas treats to this newest production by Gateway Entertainment. Book your tickets at Sistic. For other enquiries, please call 6348 5555.
If you are watching with kid/s, it’s nice if you can get a front seat. Your child might be the lucky one to go up on stage and have a wonderful experience with The Godfather.
