Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay visited Bread Street Kitchen recently and I badly want to go and see him in person but too bad I have work.

In failed attempt to see him, I found myself scrolling through my photo gallery from last dinner with girl friends. We intentionally booked the dinner at Bread Street Kitchen because we were dying to try his signature “Beef Wellington”.

The funny story behind our dinner was we didn’t know that there’s complimentary set of breads with butter and it’s eat all you can (I guess, because we asked for refill). We only knew it after we ordered the Toasted Brioche as starter. Well, charged to experience! The good thing was we had yummy spreads to pair with our breads.

Beef Wellington Set

Perfection! A succulent beef and the pastry is not soggy.

Although it’s not cheap for ordinary people like me 😉 but it’s worth it and good for sharing. It will cost you around S$80ish per serving (hope I remembered it right).

You can have this at one time and chicken rice the remaining days of the month — heheheh! Just kidding!

There’s Beef Fillet Wellington set that’s good for 1 person.

Toasted Brioche

Sided with “chicken liver – foie gras parfait” and “earl grey tea jelly”. The parfait is so perfect with breads.

Breads with Butter (Complimentary)

We finished two sets of the complimentary bread, it’s because the “chicken liver – foie gras parfait” is too good to be wasted.

Butternut Squash Risotto

Served with sage, chestnut , aged parmesan.

Slow-Roasted Dingley Dell Pork Belly with Spiced Apple Purée

This pork belly is to die for! The meat is tender and moist while the skin is crispy, perfectly paired with apple purée. I was speechless, not literally because I exclaimed “this is so good!”.

Roasted Sea Trout Wild Garlic Crust

Served with white and green asparagus, white wine veloute.

Aside from breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, Bread Street Kitchen also serves dairy free and gluten free food. They have vegan and vegetarian too.

They have current offers this coming April 2017. And weekdays set lunch specials (weekdays, 11:30am – 4pm).
